Meet Loren
My story
Featured as one of She the People’s 25 young women of color to watch and Teen Vogue for her diligent work mobilizing the youth vote in the 2020 Presidential Election and 2021 Georgia Runoff Election, I have a keen interest in uplifting youth and other excluded communities.
-
As a college student, I served as the IGNITE Atlanta Fellow where I organized and empowered hundreds of young women and provided mentorship opportunities with elected officials and community leaders. I decided to enter the legislative process and assist Georgia State Representative Regina Lewis-Ward as her Legislative Aide and then Chief of Staff. Among many responsibilities, I had the honor of working closely on policy issues that impacted our constituents.
I currently proudly serve as the IGNITE Southeast Program Manager, where I coach fellows in eight different sites across the region and facilitate trainings centered around GenZ women political participation.
I hold a B.A. in Political Science from Agnes Scott College.
