I strongly support policy initiatives that promote equity and safety for the LGBTQIA+ communities. As a proud member of this community, I have a first-hand account of witnessing and experiencing discrimination due to my Queer identity. It is my duty and joy to provide training and spaces that empowers and encourages members to be civically and politically engaged. I fully recognize that our voices are powerful and needed in the discussions that center on the policy that affects our humanity and well-being. It’s important for me to not only advocate for us but amplify the voices and multi-faceted experiences of my family. 

In order to create an equitable society for our community, I also seek to create training and spaces that educate allies on policy initiatives that protect the rights of our community.
