I believe that people of all ages in this country are needed in the civic process. Unfortunately, in too many states, it is difficult for marginalized people to participate civically. Voter suppression is a purposeful attempt to silence our voices and discourage us from being civically active. I have extensive experience writing policies and advocating for policies that promote voting and other forms of civic engagement among all community members.
